Park Place Plastic Surgery, PLLC
Park Place was founded in 1995 by John L. Baeke, MD in Overland Park, Kansas (suburban Kansas City). It quickly found success due in part to having one of the very first plastic surgery websites in the country. This site was innovative in its content; developed more to serve as a patient education medium, rather than a physician promotion tool.
Dr. Baeke was also selected by the F.D.A. to serve as a clinical investigator for six (6) separate silicone and saline breast implant studies. Park Place Surgery Center quickly rose to being a center of excellence for all manners of cosmetic breast surgery. During those years when most plastic surgeons were prohibited from offering patients silicone gel implants, Dr. Baeke had F.D.A. approval to freely implant these devices.
In 2014 Dr. Baeke wished to return to his California roots, thus he and his family moved to the central coast of California where he would reestablish Park Place Plastic Surgery in the scenic Santa Ynez Valley and Thousand Oaks areas of California. His other passion has always been wound care. Thus he developed and ran a wound care center in Santa Barbara County, California.
In 2021 Dr. Baeke was presented an opportunity to relocate to San Antonio, Texas, which he gladly accepted. Thus, today Dr. Baeke maintains offices for Park Place in both California and Texas. He and Suzanne continue to work closely together, committed to providing the finest for Park Place Plastic Surgery in both parts of the country.
